Since 1992, the Ames Education Foundation has worked hand-in-hand with teachers, parents, and community members to fund innovative programs that give every student the chance to thrive.
The principles that have guided us for over three decades
Our Mission
To enhance educational opportunities for all students in the Ames Community School District through community-funded grants, scholarships, and innovative initiatives that inspire lifelong learning.
Our Vision
A community where every student has access to the resources, experiences, and support they need to thrive — and where strong schools serve as the foundation of a vibrant, connected community.
Our Values
Equity, excellence, collaboration, and transparency guide everything we do. We believe that investing in education is investing in the future of Ames — and every dollar we raise goes directly back to our classrooms.
